Location
If you’re coming to Rome to see Rome, then the Rubino Hotel
can offer you the one thing that is most important: a central location.
Locations don’t come more central than Roma Termini –
the city’s principal intersection of buses, metros, regional
and national trains. From here you can reach any part of this fantastic
city with ease, day or night.
Within 10 minutes’ walking distance you can reach Piazza
della Repubblica and Rome’s commercial area and with the money
you’ve saved on the low cost Hotel Rubino you can push the
boat out on Italian designer accessories. 20 minutes’ walk
will take you to the awesome Colosseum and the ancient Roman Forum.
A half an hour and you’ll be in the heart of the enchanting
centro storico. Keep going, and you’ll reach St Peter’s
and the Vatican. That’s not to mention the countless treasures
you’ll discover on the way. In Rome, you can trip over a medieval
church if you’re not careful.
There are enough treasures in the eternal city of Rome –
with nearly 3000 years of history - that you could stay here for
6 months and not even see them all. If you’d really like to
make the best of a short trip why not try one of our city tours
of Rome operated at a discount rate by our partners in the city.

How do we get to the Hotel Rubino Rome?
Very easily. First of all, get to Roma Termini either by rail or
airport transfer (trains run from Fiumicino Airport throughout the
day and various bus companies run from Ciampino Airport). If you’re
coming by car, simply follow signs for Centro and Termini.
As you can see from the map above (which we suggest you print out),
Hotel Rubino is just 200m from the station. Exit on the Via Marsala
side – that’s to the left as you come off the platforms
– then turn right and then immediate left onto Via Milazzo.
Hotel Rubino Rome is at number 3 Via Milazzo.
A taxi directly from Fiumicino airport should cost a fixed rate
of €40 during the day, from Ciampino, €30, but it is important
to establish this fact before you depart as taxi drivers, particularly
at Ciampino, are notorious for hiking up the price for tourists. |
